About this product

This medical product is by Pacis insurance company.It is an inpatient cover for schemes that have ten (10) principal members and above. [mks_toggle title="What does the Plan cover?" state="open"] The plan is an inpatient cover only. It covers all medical expenses incurred as a direct result of an insured falling ill or sustaining accidental bodily injury. Some of the services covered include:
  • Doctors fees
  • operating Fees
  • physiotherapy
The insured can buy back some policy limitations and exclusions to a sub limit within the overall policy cover. Some of the policies that can be bought are:
  • Maternity cover
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Chronic conditions, e.g. diabetes and hypertension
  • Pre-existing conditions

  • Children between the Age of 3 month and 21 years.
  • Adults between the age of 18 years and 64 years.
NB. All members aged 45 years and above will be on accident cover only until a detailed medical report and/or examination result is sent to the insurer. [/mks_toggle] [mks_toggle title="What is the waiting period?" state="open"] The waiting period is twenty-eight (28) days for all non-surgical claims and 120 days for all surgical claims in respect of the Insured, unless the insured is transferring from an existing medical scheme.
